Manhattan: West End Avenue - 104th Street (West)
895 West End Avenue at S.W. corner of 104th Street, "The Mentone", an apartment house built between 1910 and 1916 and replacing five small houses which were the original buildings on the site, built in the mid 1890's. The house on the S.E. corner will be demolished early in 1924 and replaced by a modern apartment house. About 1922. Gift of E. M. Jenks.
