Brooklyn: Shore Road - 99th Street

(1) Shore Road, east side, north of 99th Street, showing in the foreground the house occupied in 1852 by General Stanton. (It was still in the Stanton family in 1873). The following are families which lived in or owned this house at one time or another; Walter E. Shuttleworth in 1915, Major Thomas L. Johnson of Cleveland, Henry George, George F.
