Manhattan: 37th Street (West) - 9th Avenue

432-456 West 37th Street, south side, west from a point midway between Ninth and Tenth Aves and to the latter. No. 432 is fairly new, replacing two three-story frame houses. No. 434-436 is the New York County Jail, formerly the 22nd precinct Police Station. The 12-story Underhill Building covers house numbers 438-448. May 23, 1930. P. L. Sperr.
