57th Road (left, not seen), east of 59th Street (also not shown), showing at the left partially a two story frame number 5934 57th Road (formerly Hill Street.) To the right and in back of this house is an old one story structure bearing No. 5923. Eugene L. Armbruster questionably states it to be the property of one Custer in 1891. However the 1891 Atlas shows Custer owned a home on Maspeth Ave. just north of the last mentioned house. 1922. Eugene L. Armbruster Collection.
