Manhattan: 58th Street (East) - Lexington Avenue

136 to 116 East 58th Street (foreground, left to right, low houses seen in full view), at, adjoining and west of the S.W. corner of Lexington Ave., as seen across a clearance (extreme foreground) at the N.W. corner of the above mentioned streets, from Finkenberg's Furniture Store, situated at 142-158 East 59th Street, south side, between Lexington and Third Aves. No. 126-122 appears as a clearance after the demolition of a 5-story house, which was the home of the New York Genealogical and Biographical Society. Contiguous to it is seen the 9-story Fullerton House. Also shown is an extended view of the neighboring area in a southwesterly direction displaying a view of the lower portion of the Ritz Tower (center of picture), a 41-story apartment hotel, at the N.E. corner of Park Ave. and East 57th Street.
