Manhattan: Stanton Street - Sheffield Avenue

Hamilton Fish Park: The Stanton Street side of same as viewed from Sheriff Street, showing this recreation area in a transitional phase. The foreground, the eastern half, will be developed as a playground and the new swimming pool will be in the westerly half. The photographer is viewing in a westward and northwestward direction and shows buildings on Pitt Street (in No. 1) and East Houston Street (No. 2).
