Manhattan: Park Row - Church Street

(1) City Hall Park: A view of the City Hall in the northward direction from Park Row (foreground). A reception of the members of the Evening Graphic (newspaper, non-existent today, 1937) Modified Marathon from the Bronx to City Hall is in progress. The foundation of this structure is on the old site of the Almshouse; Major E. Livingston laying the first stone on September 20, 1803. It was occupied on August 12, 1811 and completed in 1812.
