3rd Avenue, south from 24th to 26th Streets. The clearance on the east side of the avenue is for the construction of Gowanus Parkway, Brooklyn's northerly extension of the Belt Parkway. Buildings on the west side of the avenue were left unmolested. View 2 shows the Sullivan Dry Dock and Repair yard, formerly the Todd Shipyard, at the S.W. corner of 24th Street.
