Manhattan: Wall Street - Pearl Street

54-56 Wall Street, north side, between Pearl and William Streets, as viewed northward on Hanover Street. The clearance in the foreground is for the new 35-storied Wall and Hanover Building which will replace the former 3 and 8-story Brown Brothers and Co. Building that stood here. On the left appears the east side of the block square National City Bank and occupying the west side of this street, from Exchange Place to Wall Street. June 30, 1928. P. L. Sperr.
