Manhattan: Cherry Street - Clinton Street

Sperr. The New York Times of July 15, 1938, reports the proposed demolition of No. 304 Cherry Street, which is the first 5 story tenement this side of the clearance. (2) and (3) The same area as No. 1, subsequent to the noted demolition (Vacant space in center) and during a similar project at the N.W. corner. View 3 emphasizes this last mentioned phase and includes a perspective along Clinton Street (right), across Monroe and Madison Streets respectively. June 23, 1939
