Manhattan: Church Street - Dey Street

Church Street, north from Dey Street April 1, 1920 F. L. Sperr (2) and (3) Two additional views showing the changes effected. These consist of the "El" demolition, the new Post Office, the modern taxpayer housing a Woolworth 5 and 10 cent store and the absence of the Trinity Church business buildings that formerly stood to the rear of St. Pauls Cemetery. Note also the additional width to the thoroughfare. This was achieved thru slicing off a swath of the building line to the left. July 17, 1939 F. L. Sperr
