Brooklyn: Liberty Avenue - Essex Street
Liberty Ave., north side, east of Essex Street, showing a small frame house, once a blacksmith shop and home of John Likewise. He established his wheelwright shop here in 1863. It was still occupied in 1902. (In the rear is a 4-story factory). 1923. Eugene L. Armbruster Collection.
