Manhattan: 4th Street - 5th Street

East 4th Street, north side, west from (No. 35-31, garage), a point midway between the Bowery and Lafayette Street, and to the latter (left). The 3½-story structure with dormer windows is the "Old Merchants House" built by Seabury Tredwell in 1836 and occupied by him and his spinster daughters until 1930.
