Queens: Seaside Avenue - Beach Channel Drive

Seaside Avenue, east side, between Beach Channel Drive and the Long Island Railroad tracks, Rockaway Beach, showing the Seaside Hotel of 1891, remodeled. William Wainwright built the original Seaside House, a three-story peak-roofed house, in 1874. Sanford Murray was manager in the '70's; Harper Stumpf the proprietor in 1881; and O.D. Potter in 1901.
