Brooklyn: Ave. V - 73rd St. E.

(1) Ave. V, south side, at the S.W. corner of E.73rd Street. A view of the Stoothoff Bergen House, sections of which are said to have been built as early as 1633; however the records are not definite or certain. In old history it was on Bergen or Broken Island, completely surrournded by water. On the maps of 1929,the building is not in existence.
