Manhattan: West End Avenue - 97th Street (West)

West End Avenue, east side, from 97th to 98th Streets, showing 760-70 West End Avenue, old houses built in the late 1880's. Not long after the date of this photograph all but 770, in the middle of the block, will be replaced by a 15-story apartment building. The 12-story building on the S.E. corner of 98th Street was erected between 1910 and 1916, replacing similar small houses. June 1925.
