Manhattan: Vanderbilt Avenue - 45th Street
Hotel Roosevelt, Vanderbilt Avenue on west side; from 46th to 45th Streets, seen from the north side of 46th Street east of Park Avenue. This is a view which it will be impossible again to obtain from this position, as the new New York Central Building, occupying an entire block, is beginning to rise in the foreground. The Hotel Roosevelt occupies the entire block, from Vanderbilt to Madison Avenues. It was opened in September 1924. October 12, 1927. P. L. Sperr, Photographer.
