Manhattan: City Hall Park.

(1) City Hall Park: A rear view of the City Court, a brownstone structure erected in 1852 on the site of the Rotunda (built in 1816, where works of Art were exhibited). It was occupied by the Court of Special Sessions and in 1879 by the Tax Offices. In the early part of 1929 it was demolished. The Hall of Records, appearing on the right was wrected in 1903.
