Manhattan: Bleecker Street - Christopher Street

329-331, 335 Bleecker Street, at and adjoining the N.E. corner of Christopher Street. The first two houses are frame faced with brick. 329 Bleecker Street (or 93 Christopher Street), the corner house, is the house in which the city map commission met from 1807 to 1811, and laid out a plan for Manhattan streets which, with one or two exceptions, has been followed to the present day. This picture gives almost the same view as the larger photograph of 329-343 Bleecker Street (q.v.), taken in June, 1925. October 21, 1927. P. L. Sperr.
