Manhattan: 9th Avenue - 18th Street (West)

Ninth Avenue, east side, north from W. 18th Street (right, not seen), showing a general view of this west side area with one of its arterial transportation lines. Several new apartment buildings are contemplated which will cause radical changes in its contour; one such seen is at the N.E. corner of W. 20th Street. To the right in No. 1 appears a portion of the huge Textile High School. This property, north of 19th Street, and extending to Eighth Avenue, was formerly the easterly part of the Clement C.
