Queens: Utopia Parkway - 73rd Avenue

Utopia Parkway, east side, between 73rd and Jewel Avenues, show the low frame structure of the Black Stump Hook and Ladder Company No. 1. It is a former schoolhouse and was known as Black Stump School No. 4 from 1860 to 1891. Just north of this structure is Public School No. 26, the former Public School No. 28. Views 1,2,3: Eugene L.
