Bronx: Middleton Street - Mahan Avenue

Middletown Road, north side, at Mahan Avenue. The frame house, at the N.W. corner, bears No. 3079 and is the C. Burr house, according to Beers's 1868 map of Westchester County. The name is also spelled as Buer, in the 1872 map, and as Buhre, in Bromley's 1900 map. The apartment house is at the N.E. corner of the two thoroughfares. The view is eastward. May 13, 1938 P. L.
