Queens: Northern Boulevard - 161st Street

Northern Boulevard, at the N.W. corner of 161st Street (old 21st Street.), showing the W.H. Wilkins house of 1860. It was acquired by the Hildreth Estate in 1891 with 60.5 acres of land. In 1909 the Rickert Findlay Realty Company acquired possession and subdivided the farm into lots. This house, erected in 1832, was still standing in 1934. This is a set of four views.
