Brooklyn: Liberty Street - Tillary Street

(1) Liberty Square, at the intersection of Fulton, Liberty and Tillary Streets. At the right, is the Fulton Elevated Lines of the B.M.T. on Fulton Street. At the left, is the Myrtle Ave., Elevated Lines of The B.M.T. on Tillary Street. At the right, is seen Clinton Street at Fulton Street; Also the Hotel Touraine on Clinton Street. The view at the right foreground, beyond the building with the "Brown Paint Co." sign was the site of the "Second Presbyterian Church" from 1831 to 1882 when it consolidated with the "Clinton Street Presbyterian Church" located at the S.E. corner of Clinton and Remsen Streets and became known as the Spencer Memorial Church (Presbyterian). 1922.
