Manhattan: 16th Street (West) - 6th Avenue

West 16th Street, adjoining and east of the S.E. corner of Sixth Avenue, showing St. Francis Xavier R.C. Church and College. The latter is housed in the low structure on the left. It is a Jesuit Institution, opened in 1847, and chartered in 1861. About 1895. Gift of Urbrook Collection.
