Queens: Queens Boulevard - Horace Harding Boulevard

Queens Boulevard, north side, at Horace Harding Boulevard, showing Heckmann's Halfway House. The original Halfway House is small structure on the left. The new house was built by Dietrich Muller. Mullers widow later married J. Tompkins, who lived nearby. The old house and the shed were torn down in late 1923 or early 1924. These houses stand on the line of the future Horace Harding Boulevard.
