Queens: 122nd Street - Jamaica Avenue

1) 122nd Street, adjoining the N.E. corner of Jamaica Avenue, showing an auditorium. One of the signs reads: "Meeting Rooms for Rent." The wooded plot together with the auditorium was known as Columbia Park in 1909 and was, in all probability, a local picnic ground. It may have been C. Annbruster's Richmond Hill Hotel of 1891, on the Brooklyn & Jamaica Plank Road (now Jamaica Avenue), at Willow Street. P. L.
