Manhattan: Thompson Street - Houston Street

(1) Thompson Street, at and adjoining the S.W. corner of Houston Street, and south to 137 Thompson Street. July 18, 1929. P. L. Sperr. (2) The same, nearly three years later, south only to 147 Thompson Street, the two-story day nursery adjoining the back door of the Church of St. Anthony of Padua (Roman Catholic). 129 West Houston Street or 161 Thompson, the corner building, and 157 Thompson Street adjoining, were demolished late in 1929 (see Houston Street). February 20, 1932. P. L. Sperr. A fire of November 4, 1938, in the Rectory shown (No. 151) caused the death of two individuals.
