Manhattan: Broadway - Dyckman Street

Broadway and environs at Dyckman Street, as viewed northward from Fort George, Broadway is the thoroughfare just this side of Inwood Hill (knoll in the left center) and runs across the view from right to left: Dyckman Street being at the foot of same passing thru the gap formed, beyond which appear the Palisades of New Jersey as mounds in the far distance. To the right is the Metropolitan Railroad Co. power plant on the Harlem River at the foot of W. 216th Street, silhouetted against the Marble Hill outline of the Bronx Shore.
