121 (four story) and 123 West 79th Street, north side, west of Columbus Avenue (right, not seen), showing at the first listed address, the home of Hozes Seki, who, with his wife has been conducting Buddhist services here for nearly a year. According to the New York Times of June 3, 1938, the New York Buddhist Church has acquired the four story building at No. 171 West 94th Street, and will convert same for religious purposes and thereby establish the first Buddhist Church in the east of this country.
