Manhattan: Broadway - Cortlandt Street

Broadway, south from and including Cortlandt Street (right foreground) as viewed from the Western Union Building at the N.W. corner of Fulton Street. Note the Singer Building at the N.W. corner of Liberty Street, which at a later date absorbed an adjacent structure and erected upon that site an addition with a tower, 41-stories high. Trinity Church appears, silhouetted against the Empire Building. Note the cable cars on the still- cobble stoned pavement. About 1904. Brown Brothers.
