Manhattan: Madison Street - Catherine Street

(1) Madison Street, at and adjoining the S.W. corner of Catherine Street. The building at the S.W. corner is the Mariner's Church which is supported by The Society for Promoting the Gospel Among Seamen in the Port of New York and is better known as the New York Port Society; founded in 1818. About 1910. (2) The same view, at a later date and showing a new apartment house on the original site of the Mariner's Church. About 1915.
