Manhattan: 126th Street (West) - Old Broadway
W. 126th (formerly Lawrence) Street, south side, east from a point midway between Old Broadway and Amsterdam Avenue and towards the latter (extreme left and not seen). Shown is a vacant lot, a 4 story frame house, the Speyer School and several low structures. These buildings formerly were known as No's. 98 to 88 Lawrence Street but now bear No's. 518 to 498 W. 126th Street. St. Marys P.E. Church is on the side where the photographer is standing and therefor does not appear. In fact the vacant lot shown is directly opposite same. April 1, 1938. P.L. Sperr
