Manhattan: 178th Street (West) - Cedar Avenue

Fort Washington Park: Southward from the pedestrian bridge crossing the New York Central Railroad tracks, at a point about on a line with West 178th Street, The area to the right forms what was formerly known as Jeffrey's Hook, a promontory upon which a light house sets. It boasted, at one time, a one gun "lumette" or moon shaped battery built in 1775, overlooking the spot where ships were sunk in an effort to obstruct the British fleet during the American Revolution.
