Manhattan: Madison Avenue - 121st Street
Madison Avenue, east side, at 121st Street, alongside of Mt. Morris Park, showing Russian Orthodox Church of Christ the Saviour. It was built in 1882-83 for the Congregational Church of Harlem, which simultaneously changed its name to The Pilgrim Church of New York, and occupied by them until 1917. For a brief period around 1920 this church was used by the Knights of Columbus. July 24, 1932. P. L. Sperr, Photographer.
