Brooklyn: New Dock Street - Water Street
New Dock Street, west side, north of Water Street, showing the northeast end of the new storage yard which the W. P. A. is building for the Department of Purchase of the City of New York. The view shows the new concrete bedding and the structure (left) which will support the permanent hoppers for sand and gravel. New Dock Street is seen littered with abandoned auto bodies and across the river is the Manhattan shore and part of the Manhattan Bridge. This job location is under the Brooklyn Bridge.
