Manhattan: Wadsworth Avenue - 185th Street
Wadsworth Avenue, north from, but not including 185th Street. The apartment houses shown at the left were erected around 1915 or earlier, except the northernmost one, 258-64 Wadsworth Avenue, which was built between 1922 and 1925. Three small wooden houses, set back from the avenue, used to occupy the site. On the S.W. corner of 187th Street is the new building of St. Elizabeth's Roman Catholic Church, erected around 1930.
