Manhattan: Canal Street - Church Street

Canal Street, south side, west from Church Street, to West Broadway (6th Avenue "El" thereon). No. 1 is south-westward from Canal and Greene Streets and shows the easterly portion of this block and upon which in November 1938 will rise a new P.O. Station. This is the present west side of Church Street, from Canal to Lispenard Streets after widening. South of the latter point is the New York Telephone Building. View No. 2 is southward down Wooster Street and shows No's 358 to 366. These are included in the demolition for the aforementioned P.O. site. View No. 3 is extensive and shows the entire block front exclusive of the corner structure at Church Street (left). June 23, 1933. Views 1, 2 and 3 P.L. Sperr
