Queens: Astoria Boulevard - Sound Street

Astoria Boulevard, north side, at the head of 44th Street, showing old frame dwellings as seen from the south side of the thoroughfare. The cleared area between the two houses marks the course of an old street. It is designated as Sound Street in the 1937 zoning maps of New York City. P. L. Sperr March 14, 1931
