No. 1 Cedar Street; Pearl Street, west side, from Cedar Street to Maiden Lane, (general view northeastward). A series of three views towards the East River and its Brooklyn, and Manhattan Bridges. The buildings in the foreground are on the opposite side of Pearl Street (shown in View 2) and consist mainly of 4 and 5 story business structures. At the top left is the excavation for the new 35 story building No. 1 Platt Street. Across Pearl Street appears the lower portion of the New York Steam Co. plant (prominent in View No. 3).
