Brooklyn: Columbia Heights - Pierrepont Street
201 Columbia Heights, at the N.E. corner of Pierrepont Street, showing the home of Seth Low who was born at No. 165 (now 189) Washington Street, on January 18, 1850. He was elected Mayor of Brooklyn in 1881. This house owned by James Humphreys, a republican, who was a member of Congress during the Civil War, was sold to Mr. Seth Low who modernized it.
