Manhattan: 23rd Street (West) - 6th Avenue

West 23rd Street (right), at the N. E. corner of Sixth Avenue (left) showing an early view of the Masonic Temple. This building, designed by Napoleon Le Brun, was erected and is owned by the fraternity of Free and Accepted Masons of the State of New York. The corner-stone was laid June 8, 1870 and the building dedicated June 2, 1875. About 1875 Gift of Urbrock Collection
