Manhattan: St. Nicholas Avenue - 137th Street
St. Nicholas Avenue (old Kingsbridge Road), east side, north from and including 137th Street at Dorrance Brooks Square, showing St. Mark's Methodist Episcopal Church (Negro). This is the new church edifice erected in 1926 (dedicated December 5). Edgecomb Avenue begins at this square. The houses shown here, from 137th to 138th Streets, were built around 1900.
