Manhattan: Bowery - Canal Street

The Bowery, west side, south from but not including Canal Street. Also shown is a general view southwestward from the Manhattan Bridge Approach of the City Hall Zone skyline. Depicted prominently of which are the Singer, Municipal, Woolworth Buildings and the new County Court House. Tenement houses intervening between the fore and background comprise a locality known as Chinatown; of which the Thalia Theatre with the Atlantic Gardens adjoining (photo studio) was a well known land mark.
