General view - Broad Street - Northwest.

67 Broad Street, (International Telephone Building) east side, from South William to Beaver Streets, (general view northeastward). A set of three views along the financial fringe between the East River and Pearl Street ("El" line shown upon same), towards the Brooklyn Bridge. View No. 1 is towards Wall Street and where appears the Bank of New York, the National City Building, and the Wall and Hanover Building. To the left of these appears the steel framework of the Bank of Manhattan Building. The imposing structure in the center (at Hanover Square) is the N. Y. Cotton Exchange Building. Views 2 and 3 are similar and show mainly the aforementioned zone. In the third view, the outstanding building is the Seamens Church Institute. Note here the Brooklyn shore in the background. P. L.
