Queens: Calamus Avenue - 72nd Place

Calamus Ave., north side, between 72nd Place and 74th Street, showing an old farm house said to be that of Jonathan Hunt in the Seventeen Hundreds. It was in the Fisher family from 1873 to 1891. It does not appear on the 1927 Queens Atlas. This is a set of four views, showing the front of the house. To the right of it are the overhead lines of the Long Island Railroad. January 1924.
