Manhattan: Washington Square North - MacDougal Street

28-17 Washington Square North, from Macdougal Street towards Fifth Avenue, seen across the N.W. corner of the Square. 27-8, the Richmond Hill, on the corner of Macdougal Street, was built around 1900 on the site of two old private houses. In the background may be seen the Metropolitan tower, at Madison Avenue and 24th Street, and behind it the needle spire of the Chrysler Building at Lexington Avenue and 42nd Street. August, 1935. P.
