Manhattan: Rivington Street - Mangin Street

Rivington Street (foreground), east side, southward across Mangin Street (center to right margin) to the new East River Drive. Shown across a clearance at the S.W. corner is a demolition progressing which will include the 3 structures, No's 339 to 43 inclusive. A notice to this effect was carried in the New York Sun of May 12, 1938. The two 4 story tenements and the 6 story D.S.C. stable will remain, as will also the 4 story building seen at No. 76 Mangin Street. Note overhead the Williamsburg Bridge. June 29, 1938. P.L. Sperr
