July 1, 1935. P. L. Sperr. According to the New York Times of January 3, 1938 the corner shown will be demolished and upon this site will rise a modern 6-story apartment. This will include Nos. 171 to 177 Seventh Ave. and Nos. 165 to 147 west 20th Street.
