Queens: Sutphin Boulevard - 108th Avenue

Sutphin Boulevard, at 108th Avenue, viewing eastward across the Boulevard and showing houses on its east side. On the right is the Polish National Home, a former private mansion. In the center of the view, directly behind the one-story taxpayer, is a row of seven frame dwellings, extending east, which were later razed to make possible the extension of 108th Avenue to connect with 154th Street. When cut through, the Polish Home and the building on the left will occupy the southeast and northeast corners of 108th Avenue, respectively. P. L. Sperr January 28, 1931
